Technical Support ticket for Orange VPN IKEv2

Dear Orange Technical Support,

*Technical Question*
Hallo,
We use IKEV2 VPN protocol for the EU office. I tried to establish a connection, but it never works.  I cannot work from home because of this.

Can you enable this for my home internet and mobile phone connections?

If I cannot work from home, then I need a new ISP.

Regards,

S

PS. if you provided an official message to Support, such as email, and online form, or even get old telephone*, then I would not have to post on a public forum to get your attention, would I?

* when I phoned you in French. you tell me immediately that you cannot speak English, and hang up.?! I spoke in French.  When I spoke in English, you passed me around your colleagues for 20 mins and then hung up.  So, the phone number does not actually work. I won't use FB or other social media for business.

First of all - there are only customers on this forum

The likely cause of the failing connection is your firewall

Try disabling your firewall and see whether that works

If it does, ask your EU office which ports have to be enabled in the firewall for your VPN to work.

Enable those ports in the firewall, then try with the firewall on

Hi,

It have not got a firewall on my gsm.

The problem persists when connected with Orange wifi at home, and Orange mobile data.

The f/w on the router is disabled.

I knew this, and thank-you for replying.  This post is also a dig at Orange customer service for not providing support channels.
