IP means internet protocol address. It's like your home address, but on the internet!
Important note to make :
An IP address you see in your home network (e.g. 168.192.1.1) is a local address (just like you would have different mailboxes in a building). This is different from your public IP address which is the address that your router has when accessing different servers around the globe (just like the address of the buikding)
